This privacy policy explains what data PredictionWolf collects, how we use it, and what choices you have. We try to keep this simple. Last updated: May 13, 2026.
The short version
- We use standard web analytics (probably Google Analytics or Plausible) to track which pages get visited
- We use affiliate cookies to track when you sign up to a platform through one of our links
- We don’t sell your data
- We don’t have user accounts on PredictionWolf, so there’s nothing to “log into” and no profile data to leak
What we collect
Analytics data
When you visit PredictionWolf, our analytics tools record:
- Which pages you view
- How long you spend on them
- Where you came from (referring site)
- What device and browser you use
- Approximate location (country/region level, not precise GPS)
This data is aggregated and used to understand what content is useful. It doesn’t personally identify you.
Affiliate tracking cookies
When you click an affiliate link to a prediction market platform, a cookie is set that allows the platform to attribute your signup to us. This cookie typically:
- Lasts for 30-90 days depending on the platform
- Contains a unique ID identifying our affiliate account
- Does not contain personal information about you
You can clear these cookies at any time through your browser settings.
What we don’t collect
We don’t have a comment system, account system, or contact form on PredictionWolf, so we don’t collect names, email addresses, passwords, or any account credentials. If you email us, we have your email address (because you sent us one), and that’s it.
What we do with the data
Three things:
- Improve the site. Knowing which pages get the most traffic helps us decide what to write next.
- Verify affiliate commissions. Platforms pay us when readers sign up through our links. The tracking cookies make this possible.
- Comply with legal requirements. If a court ordered us to produce relevant analytics data, we’d have to.
What we don’t do
- Sell your data to third parties
- Use your data for advertising targeting (we don’t run ads)
- Build personal profiles linking your activity to your identity
- Share your data with prediction market platforms beyond the standard affiliate attribution
Third-party services
PredictionWolf uses or may use the following third-party services:
- Hosting: Our web host can see basic server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps)
- Analytics: Google Analytics, Plausible, or similar — for aggregate site analytics
- Affiliate networks: Platform-specific tracking systems (Polymarket, Kalshi, etc.)
- Fonts: Google Fonts — Google may log requests for font files
Each of these has its own privacy policy. We try to use providers with reasonable practices, but we can’t fully control how they handle data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your data:
- EU/UK (GDPR): Right to access, correct, delete, or limit processing of your data
- California (CCPA): Right to know what data is collected and to opt out of sale (we don’t sell data)
- Other jurisdictions: Various rights depending on local law
To exercise any of these rights, contact us and we’ll respond within applicable timeframes.
Cookies and how to manage them
You can clear, block, or limit cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers offer:
- Clear cookies (remove all stored cookies)
- Block cookies from specific sites
- Block third-party cookies (which affects affiliate tracking)
- Private/Incognito mode (cookies cleared at session end)
If you block cookies, the site will still work but our affiliate tracking won’t function — we won’t earn a commission if you sign up after clicking our links with blocked cookies. From your perspective, the bonus you receive is the same either way.
Children
PredictionWolf isn’t directed at children. Most prediction markets require users to be 18 or older. If we become aware that we’ve collected data from someone under 13 (the threshold in most jurisdictions), we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices change or when laws require updates. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. For material changes, we’ll add a notice on the site for a reasonable period.
